    Dos Lunas A&G Banca Privada and Lechuza Caracas finalists of the Maserati Silver Cup


    Dos Lunas A&G Banca Privada and Lechuza Caracas will play the final of the Maserati High Goal Silver Cup of the 46th International Polo Tournament after winning their respective semifinal matches. Dos Lunas A & G Private Banking defeat Ayala Polo Team by 13 goals to 9 while Lechuza Caracas did the same with Brunei by 9 goals to 8 in extra chukker.


    Both matches were really even, with a really high polo level and plenty of emotion till the last minutes of the games. In the first semifinal, and after five tough chukkers, Dos Lunas A&G Banca Privada had a great reaction in the last seven minutes to make the difference in the game and the score to qualify for the Maserati Silver Cup.


    The second match of the day, between Lechuza Caracas and Brunei Polo Team, was also very similar, with two teams battling really hard for the last ticket for the final. In the first half Lechuza Caracas took control of the game and the score but in the last three periods the actions and score belonged to Brunei.


    A quick reaction by Lechuza Caracas in the first minutes of the sixth chukker, with Juan Martin Nero leading his team, tied the game in 8 goals apiece to take the match to over time. In the initial throw in of the extra chukker Nero took the ball from midfield right to the goal posts to score the goal that gave them the victory and the final ticket to the Maserati Silver Cup Final. Dos Lunas A&G Banca Privada and Lechuza Caracas will be face to face next Sunday from 6.30 pm at Los Pinos field 3 for the Maserati Silver Cup final.


    Aerolíneas Argentinas Silver Cup Final 


    Equus and Brunei Polo Team will play tomorrow the final of the Aerolíneas Argentinas Medium Goal Silver Cup. The game will be held from 7 pm at Los Pinos field 4. Before the final, (5.30 pm at Los Pinos 1) Golden Goose and Marqués de Riscal will play the subsidiary final.


    In this 46th edition of the Tournament more than 21 teams are taking part of the competition, with a large number of elite players, including four of the top 10 players in world polo ranking: Facundo Pieres, who will play with Ayala Polo Team; Juan Martín Nero (Lechuza Caracas) and Pablo MacDonough, who will stand up for Brunei and Dubai Polo Teams, and the Uruguayan David Stirling (Lechuza).  


    Besides polo matches, attendance, that´s free during almost all the season matches, has many leisure activities available: a varied gastronomy, Shopping Village, children's area, bars, After Polo night parties.
